Exercise of the Week: Kneeling Hip Stretch Series

Purpose: The kneeling hip stretch series is a series of movements that aims to improve hip and thoracic spine mobility.

Action: See video below for detailed instructions and demo.

Sets/Reps: As part of warmup perform 6-8reps of each movement holding the end range for 2-4secs and as part as a cooldown/stretch perform 1-3reps holding the end range for 15-30secs.

Points of Concern: Be sure to breathe while moving through each exercise and try to relax into the end range of movement as you hold, don’t try to force it.
